2-piece ball valves

BALL VALVE – KH

Split body full bore ball valves are the perfect and inexpensive solution for shutoff needs. The gland design allows in-line re-tightening or replace valves sealing without having to remove the actuator.

Two-piece ball valves are among the most commonly used ball valves.
The second piece fits into the first, holds the trim in place, and houses the second end connection.

As the name implies, a two-piece ball valve consists of two pieces, one with an end connection and the body.

The second piece fits into the first, holds the trim in place, and houses the second end connection.

In general, soft seats are made of thermoplastic materials such as PTFE. metal seats incorporate a metal-to-metal seal between the seats and ball of the valve assembly.

Soft seats are not recommended for dirty or abrasive process fluids.

Soft seats can break under these conditions, causing leaks in the valve.

In general practice, metal seats can stand up to extreme flashing, hydraulic shock, abrasive process fluid, and high temperatures.

They are also ideal for high erosion or corrosion applications
